Whats up guys, As the title says, i will be getting the JWT TT kit put in my G35 over the spring break which is mid-March. after the install and tune i will have about 1 grand left over from my budget. What should i put the 1 grand towards? keep in mind that i do have a completely stock G35 (04).. Thanks guys!

 

I would say an exhaust system that would allow for better air-flow...Which would generate a good deal of more power from your new Twins without having to change anything else...

whats coming with the TT Kit

 

ya, if you are just getting a "turbo kit" that 1 grand wont go very far getting the extras.

an exhaust alone will run ~1400$. not to mention if you want a better ems than comes with the JWT, that will be ~800++. throw on some HFC or test pipes, another 350ish. gauges run ~3-500$ depending on what you get.

How many miles is on your clutch, that could be another 700++ pretty soon after you turbo.

lots of choices, and with ~1g you can choose maybe 1 of the above.

before you do anything ....build your motor first...at least piston and rods and studs..then get the turbo in the get a clutch to hold all that power but first get that short block built first...before you blow your engine bro..which will cost you even more...imo

 

Put it towards repairs-you never know what can happen

 

Plenum spacer, radiator, fluidamper, 1 step cooler spark plugs and some Taco Bell.

 

just out of curiousity what is your budget? I undershot my budget by a few grand when I planned my build.

 

I actually did all the bolt ons first, and did everything there was to do until I had nothing left but either go FI or Internals, so I chose FI and it's been my new wallet killing project, 15k and going..............thats ON TOP of all my old mods i originally installed that I didnt count.
