Default Best supporting mod for Vortech?

Hello, I am just wondering what you people with Vortechs thought was the best supporting mod to go with it. What was the best mod for the price and performance to enhance the Super charger? Like HFC's or Utec, Fuel injectors, pulley's, exhaust, etc. Just your opinion. Thanks!

yes there will be gains with a quality exhaust system. if i were you i would have a custom exhaust fabricated. 2.5" diameter pipes, resonators, cross over or x pipe with two quality mufflers. i was running the aps 2.5" dual exhaust system. i just modified my aps exhaust with two strup mufflers, 2.5" inlets,4" outlets with a crossover fabricated in just aft of the test pipe flanges with 2.5" aps test pipes. if i had to do it all over again i would have just fabricated my own full system. the aps ran me around 1500.00 when i originally bought it and i just threw another 500.00 at it. a custom fabricated system with mufflers would probably run you around 800.00 with materials and labor at any custom exhaust shop. bye the way the exhaust setup i have is not for the faint at hart, it is VERY VERY LOUD!!!!!!!!!!

yeah I am afraid of adding test-pipes for the increased noise.

I had the complete Vortech supercharger kit with a V-2 Blower on my 2004. I had Crawford headers, Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer, 3.12 pulley, Amuse exhaust, custom oil cooler, JWT flywheel, and JWT clutch. And made 385whp and 325 torque. And everything else was stock. If I had cams I would be in the 400's easily. Man I miss my Vortech kit.

Test pipes/HFC's and a good 2.5 inch exhaust for sure.

Jet, you should have just sold the APS and custom fabbed. It would have been so much cheaper.

And loud does not begin to describe Jets car.

With everyone of these mods your going to get good gains. I just sold my Vortech kit and Im scared Im going to miss the hell out of it. If I were to do it all over I would have jumped right to the 3.12 or even do fuel and 2.87.
