Based on the results, would a fuel management system be the next upgrade?

I will bring the test report to the meeting on Monday. Thanks in advance for any advice

James

I took pictures and video of the test, but left my transfer cable at work. I will upload the pictures and video one day this week.

It's an '04.......JWT TT standard kit.....installed at the shop in NY where Vinny T. worked before going out on his own.....

James....the car's current owner bought the car from a fellow club member.....as far as I know....the original owner was never given a dyno graph from those guys....so James went a few days ago and put in on the dyno...albeit a Mustang Dyno.

For what I know of the car it's stock cats and Nismo exhaust......

The AFR looks ok to me, but that dyno looks like the car is running a lot of timing.

The car does look a bit rich, spending most of it's time between 10.5 and 11:1afr, but bringing it up to the low 11's isn't going to net huge gains.

Boost appears to be 5.Xpsi until 4500rpm when it starts falling down into the 4psi range.

Get good management on it (something that will control ignition timing as well) and get a proper tune.
Then put a boost controller on it and crank it

Haltech Platinum, it's a PNP standalone specific to the Z. This would eliminate your need for a boost controller too (and has advanced boost features such as wheel-speed based boost, and wheel-slip boost limiting). We have them in stock, click the link in my sig for more information or PM me.

Wow Found one for $2,275. Not able to buy that right now. However, if I do purchase it, would the car then need a few hours of dyno-tuning or would the Haltech adjust everything based on specific maps?

The boost is very low....otherwise, the tune looks fairly decent.

Crank up the boost to 7-8psi/retune, and she'll come alive.

It would have to be tuned and you would be looking at 6-8 hours tuning.

Yes, it will have to be tuned, but - I can send a base map with it that will eliminate a lot of it and cut the tuning time down significantly.
