Default ECU for turbonetics

on the turbonetics single turbo kit, is the reflash of the stock ecu from turbonetics good enough or does anyone recommend something additional??

There are many people running the reflash with no issues.

If you want to start messing with the kit to make more power, then get a utec or better.

This subject has been talked about before but if you really must know. The reflash is perfectly fine, many people running it with no problems. So to answer your question, yes it is "good" enough. Why else would they provide it with the kit? But as said above me if you want more power then go for a UTEC or better.

SEARCH! You're asking multiple questions in other threads that have already been discussed over and over as well. You're not going to get bottle fed around here and Im surprised you haven't been flamed already.

Taurran needs to make the Turbonetics FAQ he was talking about in a previous thread so a link can just be copy/pasted into these endless threads.

This guy claims to have done his research yet hes already made 3 different threads regarding the same kit with quesitons that have been asked who knows how many times. Really looking forward to Taurrans TN FAQ page.

UTEC or better, conclusively! The reflash is fine, however, I still recommend the UTEC over it.

Like I told you earlier, eventually you will grow tired of the power level you are going to get out of the box, so you might as well spend it now, instead of later!

The UTEC is an easy step to perform later on, so as long as you monitor your car (a/f, oil pressure, egt, ect...) you can run safely on the reflash and then upgrade down the road and get tuned if you feel like it.

My tuner did tell me to drive without vdc while on the reflash if i'm pushing it though, as fuel cut under high boost on a high compression engine is very bad. so just monitor everything and if driving hard turn of the vdc. When I'm stock, i know that if i want to do a hard pull the vdc will kick in, so when you have more power it will kick in more easily.
