This is the first time in my life when i actually envy the 6MT people.

But I'm sure I'll be happy with my upcoming GTM VB/paddleshift combo...

 

This looks very cool. I think you guys should be quite proud, taking the challenge and comming up with the goods. I guess you arnt all chequebook racers afterall

Still working on the video guys, all I have is my digital camera to do it with, so I need to do it during the day for it to turn out. I have just been busy or it has been raining.

I did put the shift boot on and will post a picture shortly so everyone can see what that looks like installed.

Here are 2 pictures of the shifter boot... I am not sure if I like it, but I will try it out for a few days to see what I think of it. I am also thinking of adding a piece of foam or poly fill to the bottom surround to make it look better and also quiet down the shifter whine from the gear box. It is not that loud, but it does have a slight rattle to it at 2000-2200 rpm that I would like to quiet down.

 

do you believe that this shifter could wear out the synchros significantly faster since every single shift is basically like slamming the gears as fast as you can?
