^^^ thanks! I do save a lot of money doing all of the work myself, trust me. If I had to pay labor rates, I would still be NA...

Sorry about the videos guys, the weather turned today, so now we are waiting for dry roads. I will keep everyone posted.

EDIT: OOPS!!! Did a little further side investigation and its a diffrent tranny, but hell it shows the potential still.

Still working on the video guys, all I have is my digital camera to do it with, so I need to do it during the day for it to turn out. I have just been busy or it has been raining.

Here are 2 pictures of the shifter boot... I am not sure if I like it, but I will try it out for a few days to see what I think of it. I am also thinking of adding a piece of foam or poly fill to the bottom surround to make it look better and also quiet down the shifter whine from the gear box. It is not that loud, but it does have a slight rattle to it at 2000-2200 rpm that I would like to quiet down.

do you believe that this shifter could wear out the synchros significantly faster since every single shift is basically like slamming the gears as fast as you can?
