Well, that would be most of them, I think.

Wait, are you talking DD or DJ?

j/k - I'm sure in that power range, you'll be able to find a sampling for any turbo kit that you'd like to run. I'm sure Dil will come up with a good way to select pairings to include your preferences...

It'll be nice to meet the faces behind the online personalities, that's for sure.

There is a restriction with parking (hence the limited spectator list) but not sure if you get dropped off and picked up if it will be an issue... Wait for word from Dil.

1) The majority of the people I wanted to run with dropped out.

2) I don't know if my car will be running like I want it by then. Also, I need to address a suspension problem and get tires as well, so I'm hoping my car is even safe to take to 140+ by then (I need coilovers). This is still up in the air pending some results to some work thats being done.

3) It's on a Thursday. I hadn't even planned on arriving at Fontana until Thursday night. I'll have to see if I can change my reservations if I want to come.

When is the deadline for money to be turned in for this now?
Why do you need coilovers to be safe at high speeds? I have hotchkis springs on stock shocks/struts and 140 is smooth as ever.

I'll try to get some other guys to pack into either the WRX or the civic and get about 4 spectators out of one load. plus 2 out of my car. should be fun to watch this. What all is gonna be going on at the event anyhow?

hey Thawk are you on Tennspeed.net by chance?

btw how long are you gonna let these guys go? 1/4 mile? 2000 feet?

cauuuse if I wanted to see cars trapping low 120's in the 1340 i'd go to Bristol...i'm only makin the drive unless theyre gonna be hitting like 150-160 in a 2000 foot drag race.

I think there's gonna have to be a few trial runs to see what's safe once you scope out how much room there is to brake. I think 2000 feet will work and be quite safe, even without upgraded brakes from 150 to 0.

yeah...those photos dont really show much of the strip. Look at it from google earth and its a lot longer looking.

<a href="http://s183.photobucket.com/albums/x69/ke0ki2k/?action=view&current=RunwayPic2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x69/ke0ki2k/RunwayPic2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

after looking at it on google earth the lil photoshop I have above is a SAFE setup...you could stop a car from 180 easy with that much room...have some STOP signed out there at the 2nd white line past the farthest taxiway

but yeah! as long as yall let em run out well past a 1/4 mile I'll definately be there with quite a few other guys.

I think some of the cars will be a joy to watch, just because of the pure acceleration power.

It looks like several Florida guys are coming to ZdayZ. You guys should check out transport for all your cars on one carrier. If you all pitch in, I don't think it'll cost much more than the gas to go back and forth individually. If one of you can operate the truck, then you just need to rent it...

Break things? Its a roll race..... No real difference then hitting it on the interstate, besides using your brakes alittle harder.
