if it was closer and longer runway I don't think he'd have a problem. Friend of mine said he's been to the actual runway like a month ago and said it is way too short to do any type of roll races. It would be hard to even go from a dig.

Those of you who have made plans to come in on Thursday, don't give up hope - stick with it a while longer. There's still some time and a few ideas left to explore

WE HAVE TILL APRIL 8th TO PAY!!!

As of right now.... it would be approx $197.00 a person for everything.

We need a sponser to take on the cost of the air stip...$400.00

The rights to the sponsers would be....

-they are able to sell anything they want at the event (only them)
-exclusive rights to the video
-"sponsers name" : Top dawg airstrip event

and much more!

Okay, just got word that Nissan Sport Magazine is going to cover this event and may even run a feature article covering some of the cars participating! I have offered to help support media acquisition (pics, videos) as a staffer from the magazine may not be able to make it (the article will run though with some assistance from participants). I'll be contacting those that have signed up when the $$$ is paid to Dil.

Dil and I are working on details, but I think those of you who stuck with this are going to be very happy with how this turns out.

And sponsors, great news! Nissan Sport Magazine (www.nissansportmag.com) has also agreed to include a list of the major sponsors in the article! PM Dil (and copy me) if you would like to support this event as a sponsor. This is a great opportunity for publicity.

EDIT: Dil - check PM - have already got some sponsor funds committed for this. AND SPONSORS THAT WISH TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS UNTIL THE EVENT IS OVER OR THE ARTICLE IS AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW: no problem - $$$ talks.

Awesome news! So will more sponsorships help bring down the cost from $197? Great job guys. This should be a fun event for all.

Yes, and if we do really well, there may be some prizes - who knows . I think those who have signed up may need to send in $200 to get through the initial insurance deadline - and the final cost and/or distribution of excess funds will be decided by Dil. Feel free to express your thoughts though.

The only thing I can guarantee at this point is that it will be a lot of fun and an event to remember.

Ha ha - no worries, now looking good may be just as important as running good! Anyway, unless I missed it, Dil hasn't posted payment instructions - so hang in there a bit...
