Default APS TT Oil Return Lines Question

Well guys, My friend Moe at Speed Image here in Colorado was looking over my Z for any problems, he noticed oil return line for my driver side turbo resting on a line for the powersteering. The hose wasn't kinked but it def could make the oil pool up. Keep in mind the hose on my driverside turbo isn't the one that came with my aps kit. My first installer trimmed my oil return line too short so they had to replace it with another 5/8" hose.

Moe and i would like to know if there is a way to maximize flow away from the turbo and back to the oil pan using Stainless Steel line and angled fittings. Maybe even another pre-bent aps drivers side oil return line.

Anybody's opinion or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Contact an APS dealer and have them order you up a new one. I had my shop do that for the build we are doing on a G35.

Gotta love motor builds:

yea, Moe will be ordering a new line tomorrow for me, but i am still interested in different ways to attack the gravity fed oil return line problem APS kit owners have. Wouldn't a puller pump or nice 45 degree fitings help in getting the oil away from the turbos?

maximise flow??

Your pushing oil past the seals? As long as its less then 90deg, i dont think u can improve anything...

Well gravity fed is actually the best a man can get (simplest and most effective)... Every other method other of return oil is a workaround for gravity... The APs style return into the top of the pan is the best way, once again. U should see the setups we use on FWD cars with low-mount turbos. As long as its less the 90%, your sweet.
