okay so i did serch and couldn't find anythign i got my vortech on and running and it sounds hott as hell anyway when i shift you really can't hear anything and it boosts REALLY REALLY SLOW is that normal or what anyhelp would be great and when i mean boosts realy slow i mean doesn't starting boosting till like 4000 on the tach and yes i have a boost guage so anyhelp to make it get to boost faster would be great and make the bypass louder thanks guys

 

First off - did you realize you typed that as one big long sentence? You should add in some punctuation to your posts to make them halfway readable.

Well, the Bypass valve isn't a blow-off valve - you won't get a loud "psssst" sound. You should get a "sssh" sound when letting off at high-boost. What boost level are you hitting? What does your gauge say?

 

which pulley are you using?

 

4000rpm ur probly using 3.33 so that is normal, you can adjust the BPV threads to get boost quicker

 

How many threads are showing on the By Pass Valve 'adjuster' (The screw at the top of the BPV)
