Default (Stock block w/Greddy TT) should I go 3.3 diff?????

My buddy has an automatic and I was wondering if It would benefit me with the TT kit if I were to switch final drives (or diffs) with him for the 3.3. To the people that have done it, what have been the pros and cons to it. Thanks

i would try to get some KDWs or if oyu dont drive it a lot the R888s hook like crazy.

i would rather have better tires with a 3.9 gear honestly.

It depends on what you want to do with the car, if you want to do full boost runs on a straight as in 1/4 mile you would benefit from the taller gears but you lose on normal driving and partial throttle.

I have the 3.3 and thinking of going back to the 3.5 just to get that zip back in normal driving

i would keep the 3.5 for stock engine type power. when i built the motor i later swapped to the 3.3 and while it is nice in its own way, it definatly slows the car down a little in the sense that it doesnt pull as hard and it looses some RWHP... but the shifting is definately a little more relaxed.

at 450 with the 3.3 my car felt sluggish. Now at 550 it feels perfect with the 3.3. Traction in 1st-3rd is still laughable, but better. On top of that, my car pulls over 26 mpg on the highway.

It would be more beneficial to get better tires. Either way street tires are going to suck.

Brock, have looked at the Pilot Sport PS2? They keep my car pretty straight even at 11psi.

You got the 2.87 pulley? When are you coming back in town so we can run?
