+1 ^^..... it reminds me of watching Mikes (Z-GAD) 240Z run down the track @ 8.91....from the launch to the end of the run, they looked identical. I saw Mike run his car @ Bradenton and it was quite impressive. That would be a great race between an older model Z and a newer model Z. If you have a chance pull up the vid of Z-Gads run and you'll see what I mean.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Hal is doing a great job with setting up the car and going down the track. The Haltech is doing its job making power and they keep adding features we ask for such as boost by MPH.

Hope we can make a run after the Supras as they are definitely making more power with their higher speeds. I guess it is time to turn it up

Thanks...do you guys have any plans to take this car into the Pro rwd class or are you going to keep it looking like a Z(which I happen to really like) and stay in the street class?

Do you guys have plans for further weight reduction? (i.e. Carbon Doors and such) Does that particular class of a minimum or maximum weight restriction?

Minimum weight is 3350. We overshot and weighed 3400. I wish we could cut the weight down to 3000 pounds but the class rules won't let us.

After seeing Mazworx Silvia Pro RWD I am tempted to call my chassis fabricator and see what it would cost to build a big tire car. This would be in addition to the street car we are currently running.

There are two races out west. One in Salt Lake City, UT and one in Denver, CO. We are still debating if we are going to travel out west since we get 5mpg and it is 3300 miles round trip to SLC. At $4/gallon... We already went to a race in Phoenix...remember???

Umlimited Street...is that the class that is pretty much setup for the same as the Mustang EFI Renegade classes? IF so, the top Renegade guys are in the 8.50s (without intercoolers). I am amazed that you guys are already so close to those times.

Keep up the good work!!!

I'm pretty sure the unlimited street is for 4,6,8 cylinder cars with aftermarket trannies and power adders

Hal, our club's shop location is barely 10 minutes from Atco, just 6 miles down the road. If there's any assistance we can provide in terms of lift, air or tools, let us know, we'd be more than happy to help you guys out while you're in town over the weekend.

At the very least, we'll definitely come out and support and we can give you a hand if you need info for logistics, food, etc... Drop me a PM if we can help!
