Do you happen to have a video of your 8.8 @ 159 and 9.21 @ 163 runs? Also, time slips?

 

Congrats to you guys....Glad to see you got another run in. Did the 8.8 hold up against Jessica? Did that time win your class?

 

Coachk, it was great meeting you and hanging out yesterday. I am glad you caught us at the hotel and said hello.

Our 8.80 was the quickest time of the day, and we made it through a few rounds to the final but suffered a crack to the exhaust feed pipe that kept us from running against Jessica.


350- We did not get any footage there, but plenty of others were filming. I'm sure some video will surface before long and I'll throw it up. I have in-car from our 9.2 @ 163mph qualifying pass I'll get up later as well.

 

Congrats last night, you guys have set that car up perfectly it seems.

Hal....it was great meeting you guys as well. To the members on this forum that have never met the Injected guys, they are some of the coolest and most down to earth guys I have ever met.They are very humble with one bad a$$ car. If you get a chance to meet the Injected guys at ZDAYZ, you'll see what I mean. Hope the dog is doing ok.....

I don't think we will be coming back to Florida for a while. I am tired of driving down I-75 Been through Atlanta three times in three weeks!!!

just saw the video......what was really amazing was that the GTI in the video didn't seem to be that far behind.

I watched it a few times because I saw the same thing, it's the angle the video is being shot at. The GTi is actually reeeeally far behind haha

 

did you also notice that the GTI started out the race as a 1st gen RX-7.

 

Yes I did I was like wtf, the mazda probably would've given them a better fight, but not by much...

 

Yes, I noticed the same thing in the video. To put it in perspective, his 1/8th mile time was 8.45 seconds... 0.35 seconds less than the time it took us to run the whole 1/4 mile.


The RX7 was the next round, not sure what happened in that video edit. He went 10.4 to our 9.4 - I lifted because the track was BAD and I was out pretty good on him.
