I think we both said the same thing about the flash converter, but yours makes more sense.

In my old 5.0 AWD explorer, I could foot brake the engine up to about 2000 rpms, and when I launched, the rpms would "flash" to about 2400 rpms. when I sprayed it (125 shot
) out of the hole, the foot brake rpm was the same (no spray), but the rpms would shoot up to at 3000 instantly as the nitrous hit due to the added 200+ ft-lb of torque from the nitrous. It was alot of fun getting 1.88 60' times out of a 5000+ pound SUV!!!

Regarding our converter and the use of nitrous:
Stall's are a function of torque, and our setup requires a temporary bump in tq to bring the rpm's up to a range where the turbo can takeover. (3000s -> 4000s) After a momentary hit of nitrous we could disable the system and run on boost - but why?

Lets see it Injected....turn it up baby
PS comgrats on the run.
