Default expensive oil change

Just called mobil to get a price check on mobil1 0w-40 and its $12.99 / quart. Its going to be a $100 oil change.

It used to be $5.99 last time I checked, didn't know it went up and price.

It has been determined one of the best oils to used base on independent testing and results. Its also the OEM fluid used on many high performance vehicles, such as Porsche and the GTR.

I just paid less than $6.00 a quart and did it myself. I'm guessing that is the price to have someone else do it for you.

btw, did you call your local parts store? I wonder if its just from buying it from mobil, a lot of the time prices are higher if bought from the source.

lol nope, but i am buying it in GUAM. It is my first oil change here. Then again gas is 4.30/gal so yeah i am geting raped

uhh I use Mobil 1 0w-40 synthetic everytime I change my oil with a $15 filter everytime, and its still only about $60 or soo...
