Default Exhaust fuel odor

is there anything I can do to minimize the exhaust odors? It's pretty strong. My friend was following behind me and said that it was pretty gnarly. I don't want to get pulled over for it.

wasn't all that bad on my other NA Z with exhaust and testpipes. Do other FI'd cars smell this strong?

mine isn't too bad. What are you tuned with? A good EMS and proper tune/AFRs will keep the fumes down

From your other thread with your dyno sheet, I remember the car running pretty rich (10's). If you tune it to more normal AFR's it might fix this.

I have test pipes and mine does not smell that bad at all, I think a better A/F tune would make you feel a lot better.

Other than installing cats and/or leaning out your fuel mixture, no.

There is nothing you can do about this, you'll get used to it.

air freshener in your exhaust pipes will make it smell better and help with back pressure

Yeah I see your concern. My car is reg on CA and I would never set foot in CA with my car, it would just get towed away. My car probably kills a tree every time I drive it.
