06's arent a problem. We would really like to start working on a solution for the HR's.

STS is definitely the most economical form of FI, esp with all that torque. More so than Vortech, but people seem to overlook it.

I would have to agree. I would have given more consideration to this kit if there were more cheap used ones available - which is one of the reasons I went with the Vortech. Plus, I'm a little worried about having that much torque on my stock block And it's a little bit easier to do a self-tune on a centrifugal supercharger than a turbo - don't have to worry about boost controllers and the power is linear.

If the power bug bites though, this might be an option down the road.

Bigger and better upgrades will be available soon. We've been very patient with this kit and hopefully it's going to pay off.

nice nice... How low does this sit? I scrape my hks exhaust all the time on the offramps on the freeway so I would be concerned with screwing up the turbo or turbo associated piping. Also, has the shield for the filter to prevent water and heat soak been developed/installed on this?

You have to scrap your rear bumper to get to the turbo. The side piping is low so if you are close to a city then the Modded Piping is a must.

Could you confirm that the problems experienced by the person intsalling the kit on the 06 are no longer and issue. I would like to do a DIY and don't want to be hacking up parts for them to not fit afterwards.

Thanks.

I can't confirm that as we have not done an 06, but speaking with STS, they have assured me it works fine now.
