I think the problem has been resolved. It turn out that there was a leak on the Fuel Pump and that is why his A/F was leaning out. His kit is not a standard kit since most of the piping was modified including using a different EMS. It is not his fault but had no choice since his car is a G35 SEDAN and on top of that it is a 2003 which has a different connector for the ECU hence he couldn't use the Utec that came with the kit. I give props to him for spending more $$$ and time to make the kit work for his car.

He knew that from the beginning though and n e one knows that when you go FI you ain't just installing a cold air intake! You gotta pay to play and at the end of the Day he still spent way less than any other option for the power he gained! It was over 380rwp with the problems!! The Turbo is rated at 550chp so as long as the Motor can handle it and there is enough octane in the fuel source that he can make as much power as he is tuned for. If he want's more power then he can just add a bigger Turbo!

These turbos seems like anyone can yank it off if they really wanted too... Are there any horror stories of someone getting the actual turbo stolen?

First the turbo really get hot so they have to wait for hours to let it cool down. Second, how many Rear-Mount turbo do you see on the street for them to assume your turbo is in the back. Maybe if you put a big arrow pointing down and put a sign "Look down turbo under here!!) Lastly, if your car is supped up, why would you park in a questionable area? Aren't you worried they might jack your Wheels, Sound System or even just tow your car? My wheels cost more than the turbo itself so they can have my turbo and I'll keep my wheels.

The questionable area happens to be where i live and i my house doesnt have a driveway yet (coming soon 15g's ) but i can't really get sick wheels anyway and drive hard at the same time.. I plan on keeping my car as stock looking as possible. where i live if u have freakin tinted windows ur marked.. and people are very keen nowadays. if they see an aftermarket exhaust ur marked.. I live 20 minutes from Newark so that should say enuff..

I actually plan on greddy twins or Powerlab.... just want see how guys in and around the tri state like these kits.. they do have some upsides.. especially since it's outside the car that should in theory eliminate heat issues. the part of getting it stolen just popped out to me when i saw the pix of where it sits..

side note: my neighboor has the model maxima that didnt come wit the HID lock kit and used to get his HID's robbed like once a month until the lock kit came out. either thieves or little punk *** brats bored with nothing to do..

/\ Then you shouldn't mod your car We all know what Newark is famous for!!

Edit: It dont matter what kind of kit you get coz once they see that FMIC then it's over!

You can get away by hiding the gauge but how are you going to hide the Intercooler? If you literally block your front to hide it then you might as well not run an Intercooler. Also you live in that neighborhood so trust me give it a week and everyone will know you have a turbo!!

UR 100% correct.. this is the only reason why i wouldnt want the turbo within arm's reach... A good alarm will help a little but to some of the real handy guys they could just cut the sucker out. with all other kits u won't have this issue. as far as the FMIC goes i would paint it all black along with the piping.. 2 of my friends already powder coated them black and u'd have to literally stare at the front bumper to notice the fins.. i like the stealth look

C'mon you live in Newark and you should know better that nothing is impossible. They can pick your car apart in minutes or they'll just tow your car and chop it somewhere else. Once you go FI then you better have a garage. Once you past by a neighborhood and they hear your BOV then no painting of the FMIC can hide it... You are going to be a marked car!

First of all who is going to lay underneath the car with a saws all for a Turbo? do you know how loud and time consuming that will be?? Plus what are they going to do with just the Turbo? That kind of person is not going to go home and start fabbing his own system! He'll probably just try and sell it and not even get that much for it! At that point just buy it back! If you are really worried about someone stealing it then use lock fasteners with a special socket or something!! If you are that worried about things like that then you should put a plug in your butt so you don't get stuck by someone!!

Someone on the other thread had a problem but that was because they had the side pipe. The center pipe will work on all the 350Z's from 03 to 06 Rev Up's. They still need some G's to make sure they can work out the differences and offer direct bolt on applications for them. The 07 is something they can do but they want to offer Tuning other than the E manage so they are waiting on that to offer something!
