Unfortunately, the sales numbers aren't at a level that STS is willing to put forth the effort to make a 50 state carb legal kit just yet. It passes with flying colors in NC, but California is a no no for the time being.

Hopefully that will change soon...

I'm thinking I could possibly be an investment toward better sales numbers, being that a lot of us in CA want turbos but also don't want to go through the trouble if we're caught with one. The kit is already priced great, if they could get CARB, I know people in CA would jump on it....including myself. Right now we only get superchargers.

+1

The main reason that I went with a Vortech is because it is CARB exempt. If this kit was got CARB approved, I would definitely think hard about switching.

I think he's having problem with his A/F being in the 13's when on boost.... He is using E-Ultimate and not Utec though with the kit.

The 2003 G35 Sedan has a different connector so he can't use Utec.
