Driving with my Vortech and the cog belt removed?
I am driving to Forged next week from Ohio for tuning, I think it is about 600 miles. I plan on driving with no boost as this was recommended by Sharif. He sent me a base map to get my injectors running and all too. What is the best way to do this? Remove the cog pulley and let the air go through the supercharger, intercooler and all the plumbing? Should I somehow bypass the supercharger and put an airfilter on my intake tube? Lastly should I hook up my oil feel and return lines even if the supercharger is not spinning? Advice on this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The oil will go thru the SC and return to the motor just fine . I drive mine all the time with out the blower belt on in the winter . To get the best air flow , disconnect the IC pipe that runs down behind the blower . I just cut up a cheap furnace filter and clamp it over the end of the IC pipe

My engine was knocking when the Procharger FMU shorted out, I was returning from Maine at 12 midnight driving through New Hampshire when it happened. Removed the cog belt and drove home to Stamford without a hitch.

So basically the air only travels through the filter the the maf sensor the throttle body and in the engine just like a n/a intake or stock.

If you keep all of the piping hooked up, you will be sucking unfiltered air in through you bypass valve - so either rig up a filter for that or get the BPV filter from superchargersonline, or i think you can just disconnect the vacuum line from it so that it stays shut and sucks air in from the blower (just be sure to plug the vacuum line going to the FMU/intake manifold).
