I wanted to know if the HKS TT kit was only for the vq35de engines or can they work on the HR motors as well?

^Totally agree with you . Second Mikez97 what do you mean wait it out? Are you saying that the current HKS TT kit only for the DE motors?

 

the "kit" is only turbos, oil pan, manifolds, no intercooler or piping. The manifolds wouldn't likely fit but since all the piping requires custom work...expect 15k+. Contact a pro dealer with machining expertise like gtm and find out for sure

and the de kit has everything but the piping

Performance Factory has already done the HKS TT on HR's. IMO they're the go to guys for the HKS kits

Why offer an incomplete kit?

 

It's a "start-up" kit. HKS says it allows for customization for particular setups via your tuner and fabricator.

To my knowledge HKS only has offered a complete single turbo kit for the 350z and this was only sold by HKSJapan:

● 燃料制御にはF-CON VProが必要です。
● ウェストゲートは出荷時0.35kgf/cm2に設計されております。ノーマルエンジンの場合、ピークブースト0.4kgf/cm2程度が限界となりますので、ブーストを上げる場合にはエンジン内部の強化が必要です。
