Default Have just a supercharger block what else is needed?

Friend offered the supercharger block itself from stillen used for about 2k miles in his z before he leaves for iraq so i can try it out.

Just asking what else is needed to get it running in my car and how much would that run me in addition to the block. Already found someone to install it.

You mean the actual blower unit itself? You'll need all of the fuel stuff (FMU and pump, i think), engine management black box, intercooler, belts, pullies, etc. etc. I don't have the kit so I don't know...but it's not going to be cheap.

I would do some research on some other kits, because going down this route might be more expensive, and more of a pain in the ***, than you think.

yeah it's gonna be alot. Stillen charges and arm and leg for parts. They charged me $50 for three bolts and a washer!!!

I suggest you sell it to someone that already has a Stillen setup, who may want an extra blower to tinker with, and take the money you get for it and put it towards buying the whole kit from Stillen. Or whomever you decide to go with. Will be more cost effective in the long run.

"stillen supercharger for the Z"

they really brought their name down with this product.. Stillen Intakes, Exhaust.. other Nissan products have always been Top Notch.. even their Maxima Supercharge Kit was exceptional.. and it made more power over stock than their supercharger does on a Z/G .. granted the Maxima Supercharger was a Vortech Blower.. but it was still a stillen kit.

I had a Stillen Body Kit on my maxima and it was IMO the best Body Kit out for the 4th Gen Maxima.. i bash stillen for their sh!tty performing Supercharger for the Z/G but i don't hate stillen.. i actually love stillen and the products they have made.. I think its with that prior reputation lots of Z/G Stillen owners bought the product.. chances are not being on this forum and doing research.. with the reputation of their Maxima kit i probably would have bought a Z/G Stillen Kit..

Thought you fell off the face of the earth!!! You actually missed the chance to bash Stillen setups in a few threads threads over the past month!!

We always welcome your insightful, and useful contributions Doug!! And it just wasn't the same without your "Power is everything, down with the blowers, let me tell you how much better i would of spent your money!" propaganda that you bring to the table with you!

I'm not trying to call your bluff. I agree, bang for the buck, Stillen isn't where it's at. You can strain your factory internals, and get more power from other systems out there.
I'm more concerned about your obsession with going off the deep end everytime someone even mumbles anything remotely related to a Stillen SC!
If ya wanna give advice, then do it. That's why these boards are here. But don't always back people into a corner and scream it at them!
