Code PO345 CAM Sensor CODE?!!
Well i've had my 05 vortech supercharged 350z with the ss box for about 5000 miles, and just a couple of days ago i had trouble starting my car. It would crank for a few seconds before finally turning over, and now i have SES light WTF!! this came out of no where. Anyway i brought the car down to my local auto parts store and read the codes and it turns out that the only code that came up is P0345 which is a camshaft position sensor A bank 2 circuit malfunction . I have located the sensor that the code calls for but am not sure if i wanna go ahead and change it out, i dont wanna be chasing this problem by changing a bunch of parts and spending a whole bunch of cash when the problem could have been caused by something real simple. I just wanted to know if anyone had any advice or have had similar problems. Any help at this point would be great. Thank you in advance to those who can offer some help.

Do you have a volt meter. You gotta do a voltage test on the sensor and look at the specs on the service manual. if its within specs, its good and its somethin else. If its out of spec, then replace it.
