Default Looking for opinions on the Aquamist HFS-5

I've been reading everything I can on water meth injection and I'm trying to figure out which kit would work best for me. I have a Vortech set up, and I'm looking for a system that will provide some added safety and maybe a few more ponies. There are many WM kits to pick from and I have chosen the Aquamist HFS-5 set up. Before I place my order I thought I'd see if anyone has any experience with this system and what there thoughts were. It's a little pricey but it has several safety features built in to protect you from catastrophic failure in the event of a malfunction with the WM kit. So I'm willing to spend a little more $ for the added protection features. Or is the kit over kill and a snow performance kit at half the price the way to go?

Currently have Utec, but I'm thinking real hard about upgrading to another EMS. Are you happy with the quality and function of the Aquamist system overall?

I have the Aquamist HFS-5 with my Vortech set up also and I love it. It was installed by GTM and Sam tuned it to work perfectly with my HKS FCon iS. If you don't mind paying a little bit more, it is definitely worth the money.

Thank you that's what I wanted to hear. Do you know how much if any WHP you picked up if any? Did you add a tank for the meth or did you tap your window washer tank? If you added a tank were did you put it? Thanks.

No problem man. I actually ended up picking up more torque than hp but the best part of the w/m injection is the cooling IMO. After running it hard, you can touch your plenum and it will not be hot. It will actually be cool. When Sam first told me this, I was like no way. But then after running my G hard on the freeway one day, I popped my hood when I got home and touched the plenum and it was cool like if it had been sitting all day. You would never know that I had just ran the car hard. That in itself really makes w/m worth it especially when temps start warming up in the summer.

EDIT:I forgot to mention that I use the windshield washer reservoir for my w/m mix.

I just ordered the Aquamist kit as well, several of my cohorts are running it and they swear by it over the cheaper kits.

Thanks guys for your help, I'm going to get it ordered tomarrow. I also have my 2.87 pulley coming and my diy parts for an oil cooler. Guess that'll keep me busy for a while. I'll need to find room for the gauge pod that comes with it, guess I'll do something in my cubby over the stereo.
