this is little off the topic but can you guys help setting new AFK?
I have read manual, and there is setting for lean and rich O2 dummy output, and O2 dummy variance gain setting.
Is it ok to leave on default value or is there other ways for setting correct value for this?

I just finished building engine(APS TT with F con V Pro) and just about to start the engine for the first time.

I have read manual for several times on setting for knock detection condition but still confused.

Can you explain to me how to set the detection condition?

Sorry to bring from the dead but I needed to know if u can the hks amp to make a sound when it detects knock? Do I need to buy additional parts to make this option audible?

 

yes, via a warning signal once it detects the set level of knock for warning. Setup for this is in the AFK manual.

 

sorry I bought it used and it didnt come with the manual. So it beeps if u set the warning but I don't have to buy the headphones to hear it correct?

 

correct, the audible beep will come from the speaker on the AFK, the same as the "welcoming" beep when the car is first turned on. You do not need the headphones to hear it. The headphones are only needed to hear engine knock.
