Default Aem UEGO gauge wtf

Had my AEM UEGO wideband A/F gauge installed couple weeks ago and it reads between 15.0-15.7 and every 5 seconds will go "--" and run throught he color scheme. Any ideas what is up with it?

Mine will run "---" when I were in really slow speed, but not every 5 second. How old is the o2 sensor with the gauge? Cause if the sensor's failure it will act funny.

why such a high a/f? isnt 14.6-14.8 ideal under normal conditions like cruising/idle.

Yeah i'm trying to figure out what is wrong with it, I saw a picture someone posted of their car and saw their AEM UEGO was reading 15.5 is this standard for this gauge or is something wrong?

you probably have a bad sensor, or you are experiencing an exhaust leak

-- in red is crazy full lean, or off throttle (decel).

You say it is 15-15.7, this is at idle, cruise, what? What does it read at WOT?

Mine reads around 14.5-14.9 at idle, and high 10/low 11 at WOT. Works fine so far.

i havn't experienced what you are getting, but i run one aem per bank. one new one about 10,000 miles on it. they are about 0.5- 1.0 off from eachother it seems. need to datalog to make sure, hard to look back and forth fast enough. looks like i'm trying to watch a couple crack heads playing tennis!!

Yeah, a UEGO would not be my choice if I were to do it again...

If you are seeing 15 at WOT and your engine hasn't blown up yet, the problem is almost certainly with the sensor or a leak pre-sensor.

I was in car during some tuning the A/F were really good, don't think i've looked at the gauge while in boost kinda hard i'll go over everything again when I pick it up again.

Edit: Locked till I get the car back and can grab a video of it in motion
