Default Is this True. TP question!

I was told that TP on turbo car actually decrease the performance of the car..I currently have installed UTR resonated on a Greedy TT Z..I have Borla TD and I must admit that the car is quieter than before.when I was NA the car sounded more..no is quiet..Is this Caused by the TP? should I get a NON resonated? what about performance..

thanks

TP on your Greedy TT will not decrease your powah!
Also, how can your NA car sounded more.. no is quiet. It should be louder.

p.s
stay with the resonated tp.

maybe the engine noise is overpowering the exhaust. also, your car's a lot louder from the outside. I let my buddy drive it, and my bov+everything is 2x louder.

If you've gone TT, then that is why your exhaust sounds quieter. The turbos themselves act like a mini muffler. Whereas an NA car's exhaust just goes straight out.
And no your car wont loose power with test pipes. Maybe at very low boost settings, you want little bit of back prerssure purely for better torque, but you won't loose power.

Not true. The larger the unrestricted test pipe, the larger peak exhaust flow capability of the setup, which means more power.

An unresonated test pipe will provide slightly better flow than a resonated test pipe, but it will be louder.

Your borla exhaust is a bigger restriction than your test pipes.
