Dude as much as I'd like to see a bigger blower (V7) in a Z someday it wouldn't work. It's way to big and you'd need to hack up your Z and build a custom bracket to make it work. The biggest you could probbably get away with would be a V7-YSI. I'd like to see GTM or someone build a Z/G with a V7 YSI. None of Vortechs race blowers V7 or bigger have a CARB EO #.

I agree - the V2 is a very very tight fit.

The T-trim is the same size blower as the stock kit blower . It [ the T-trim ] is more than the 3.5 motor can handle as it is . Im putting 19 to 21 psi to mine , and it makes very littlle WHP per 1 PSI after 15 PSI . Going bigger would be a waist

Does a V1 fit and is there any advantage to using it over a V2? I don't really know what the difference is.

Are these blowers Counterclockwise or Clockwise rotation? Can either be used in these kits?

So are the internals of a T trim the only thing different form the stock blower?

from what i remember from the maxima days.. the V1 and V2 are almost the same.. but the V2 is much much quieter and has a better idler pulley.. the V1 sounds like angry crickets at idle

The inlet on the volute is a little bigger on the T. The S-Trim has a 3.50" inlet and the T-Trim has a 3.75" inlet.

I agree with booger. I believe the 3.5 is at max with a T. You'd need a stroker motor to take advantage of anything bigger.

V1 VS V2...a V1 has straight or spur cut gears (makes the blower louder at idle) and a V2 has helical cut gears (makes the blower quieter at idle).

the V1 blowers use straight cut gears (which I prefer. stronger, but alot louder). the V2s use helical cut gears (much quieter) also the internal step up ratio is slightly higher on the V2 compared to the V1....only slightly though.
