Default I Read it BUT I STILL HAVE A VORTECH ??

Ok guys here it is I finally got my vortech installed and I love it so far, especially the sound. The hP is ok but I expected more. Here is what I have so far and I want more power but not looking to blow my engine or spend my life savings.
Heres what I have on there now
Kinetix V+, test pipes, headers, exhaust, oil cooler, spraybar(needs to be hookedup)
Im not looking for crazy power but I want in the upper 300 if possible.
I was looking at the different pulleys and I dont know what I should do.
Please help me out guys.

I don't know much about it since I don't have a vortech, but if I wanted more power I would go with a smaller pulley.

What kind of numbers did you put down, and who did your tune?

Go with a 3.12 or a 2.87. I put down 392whp with the 3.12 and now I'm wanting to get a 2.87.

3.12 pulley and a new tune. 3.12 will keep you pretty safe as long as your tune is good

I wouldnt go pass 3.12 if your non rev. I thought I was safe with the 2.87 but I blew mine a few wks after the tune. I was making 430whp on the 2.87 so if u keep it right at or lower than 400hp then it should be good.

What caused the motor to blow? I've seen alot of non rev cars running the 2.87 without issues. What were your supporting mods as well as injectors, fuel pump, and engine managment?

Get at least 440cc. I went with the 550 so that I can upgrade my pulley later. I'm guessing you have a brand new Vortech, if so you can stay with the stock belt as I did.

Just get a walbro 255 intank fuel pump and follow the install directions on the CJ Motorsports web site. It's real easy. Get the larger injectors 440 or 550 and you should be good to go. Don't worry about a fuel return system for now. If you plan to go higher than 420whp then get the fuel return. The bigger pump and injectors is all you need for now.

And make sure you do the Walbro mod's (drilling) per Turbonetics installation manual or search these forums for details or be prepared for about 80 psi fuel pressure during idle and cruising...Maybe the CJ Motorsports site provides the instructions?

^^ you only drill the fuel regulator and the yellow swirl nozzle on the basket.

you do not drill the white basket itself
