The line at the top is actually not a line at all. Its a wire going to an oil temp sensor. I run a tee adaptor right at the oil feed for the turbo with a temp sensor going down through the top of the tee and the oil feed coming in the side. Doing this I can see the temp of the oil just as it goes into the bearing section. While the thermal transfer from the bearing itself may slightly affect the oil temp readings its should then essentially be a worst case reading of the oil temp as it hits the pressure sensor/motor...
