I am going with STS because it makes more torque than a supercharger and I dont have to run as much boost because the charge air is cooler..... imo its safer..... and I dont have to worry about turbo manifolds and all the heat under my hood..... and the financing hasnt gone through yet.... they basically have a shop that arranges financing with a credit union there in Utah. My credit is not that great so I doubt I will be approved..... then again I was approved for a 24k car.... I dunno.....

seems smart. Loan for a car ok, loan for car mods not ok. And just in general a very bad idea. And then i just read you dont have good credit, wonder why?

+1 you borrow money for things you need and spend cash on things you want.

Financing is crazy for things like a turbo kit or any other expensive mods...... do any of these sound familiar **banks foreclosing on homes **cars being repossessed** $5.00 for a gallon of gas**people being laid off from their jobs....Look up the definition of RECESSION, hopefully you'll change your mind.

Financing a Turbo Kit is like Financing Sex... your experience maybe over before your final payment is made

you guys are missing my point.... I have the cash... I can either build my motor or turbo it.... so I want to save the cash.. finance the turbo just in case something happens I will have the cash to do my build.... its not like im just strapped and cant afford it.... and if something blows then hell with it... I have another car to drive... no biggie.... would I finance the turbo kit if I was barely making my payments... no.... but I just think its better to continue to save my cash.... I know it will blow up but will it be 2 weeks or 2 years? from the minute I put the kit on I will have enough to build the motor.... just cant do both is all....

If you have the cash then why refinance? have you done any math on how much it will cost you in the end? Like I said before, I'll only do it if I get let say 2% APR. Then you can use your cash invest it somewhere else but in this economy it is hard to make money.
