Default First time out with the new TT'd Z

First of all I cant get the grin off my face.

Here are some things that really stood out to me.

1. Torque is amazing, hits hard when it hooks up, very different from my old vortech.

2. I cant stop fapping to the Bov sound.

3. All of 1st, 2nd and the top of 3rd dont hook up at all. Time for some wider, stickier tires.

4. The exhaust note sucks ***! Im running Greddy Evo TT with test pipes. At least its quieter now.

5. Forged did an excellent job with my car. They were very meticulous and detailed with their work. The car shows no sign of warm start issues or idling issues. As much of a problem as our cars can be, if she fails it wont be because of shotty work.

Props to the Forged crew!

So far so good, gonna take her out late one night and open her up and see what she can do.

encouraging news for sure.... Are these Greddy twins? Did you do anything internally?

Out of all the FI kits out there twins seems to make the most sense and i think Greddy was spot on with the small twins that make powa early on as opposed to late which can cause issues with the short powerband that the VQ has. Good news bro.

What exhaust were you running with the vortech, and how did the sound compare? Also were you able to hear the BOV with the Vortech at all? I've heard that it doesn't go off nearly as loud as a turboed car but you can hear it.

My BPV on my vortech sounds like a Damn Singer Sewing machine.

Same Greddy Evo TT and test pipes. Superchargers make your exhausts louder.

I'll take some better pics once the car is completely back together and cleaned up a bit.

not really a build thread since the built motor and TT's were transplanted from another car.

Congrats! Twin turbos all the way!! That torque is just pure sex!!
Now, go get some Michelin PS2s for your rear.. I thought about getting Toyo R888, but PS2 is just as good while it lasts longer...
