Speed limit deletes can only be done via reflash. GTM is $600, and also numerous other things to the ECU. It's a great flash.

If JUST the speed limit delete is your goal, the cheapest options is the TS L-Spec reflash for $350.

GTM ECU Flash doesn't affect his tune.. his UTEC takes over after 3 PSI.. and the GTM ECU Flash is not adjusting any AF or Timing from then stock ECU

I called Technosquare today and the speed limiter removal and the 7500 RPM limit will csot $300. Thats what I'm going to go with.

I think I remember Sam @ GTM telling me that the GTM stage 1 cams and the JWT springs and retainers were good til 7500RPM rev lmit. Can anyone confirm that?

I thought GTM used Osiris for their flash?

What exactly does the GTM reflash do?

Larry,

your UTEc can control your rev limiter. It is only on the REVUPs that the UTEC can't control rev limit.

He's got a little more than that, under the hood. Full built motor.

I got an e-mail from Technosquare and they said if I just wanted to remove the speed limiter it would cost $150 plus shipping. That's a deal I'm going to take them up on. And I guess Andrew will move the rev limiter to 7500RPM on the UTEC. All is good!

Andrew you should definetly offering your tuning services for a price. You are damn good. Of course it should always be free for me. What you wouldn't do for my wife's taco's.

doesnt the UTEC do that already ? sorry I just got my UTEC in the mail today but Its raining so I cant install it yet.

I thought the UTEC basically do what the TS L-spec does ?

Remove the Govn and Rasie the rev limiter ?? Someone fill me in cause im new at the UTEC. The only reason I went with the UTEC because I didnt want to face any downtime from TS. I thought the UTEC basically do the same thing TS does plus more with tuneablity.

the utec doesn't remove the top speed limiter, but that isn't a big deal. Jet PIlot needs it removed as he road races his car at Sebring and they have a very long straightaway. Unless you like to go faster than 155, you won't need the TS flash.

also, if you have a "revup" motor, you can't can't raise the rev limiter without a reflash......just some food for thought.

ahhhhh ok I think I was thinking of something else , now I that I re-read what hes trying to accomplish... and yeah I doubt I will be hitting pass 155mph.

No rev-up here for the A34s...altho would be cool to see a Rev-up motor in a A34
