greddy TT kit
hi guys
i did a search and found out that the greddy kit on the VQ engine can put down to the wheels around 580 - 620whp and around 16-18 psi
my Q is:
if we put a larger intercooler, can we go 23 -24 psi with the TD05 18G and get more hp ?
or is it better upgrading to 20G ??
my target is 680-700whp
any help so i can start my project
thanks

Greddy 18G's usually start to run hot I believe around 21 psi. So turning the boost up that high is not efficent. Im sure on 20G's you will make that power of course you will also gain lag
People have made 700whp on 18g's. But at that boost/power level they wont last long. I doubt the IC is a bottleneck even with 20g's its so damn big. You only see 1/2 of it through a Z's stock front end.

i was traing to find any dyno graph for a 20G upgrade so i can know how dose the curv looks like.
i really like the TD05 graphs on the 350z.
Also keep in mind that you can run those Greddy's at around 16-17psi, make 600whp EASY and then do a shot of n20 on top. I know one crazy man in particular who did that maxing out the 18g's and did 860whp....but I dont know if your goals are all turbo or not.

Good luck! PM me if you want more info.

I asked Sharif to ask you about throwing one of the experimental plenums he has sitting around on there. Did he ask you about trying that? I'd recommend the non-revup w/ your crawford. There's no moving parts so no danger with those. It will suck more air during idle (vacuum) and boost more air through the PCV valve (if you let it), so you need to put an additional check valve - but otherwise should be good to try... (I assume no risk - Sharif does!
)
He has not asked me, nor do I have interest in testing anything. After plunging into buying a sleeved motor only to hear its not needed/recommended later, I'll let others be Guinea pigs for once.
So have we, and I love it
