wow, to be honest, who the f*ck cares how effective your intercooler is. its not like you are going to swap it out. Size it correctly first up, and you are done. Honestly, what a waste of money. Half the people who get widebands in there car dont even care when they are reading bad AFR - cause its just the sensor right? The tune is good cause "god" tuned it?

Its so easy to sell products to people who have NFI.

Why cant GTM push a half useful product, like EGT gauges. Something useful to the vitality of the engine. One on each cylidner. One on each bank. Then the ricers can have all the pretty colours they want. SHow off there there friends. Cause this is what this product is about, right? The show off factor. It has no place in daily driving. IAT is all you need.

WOW....How do you guys come up with statements like this? For your information...I found my intercooler to be the limiting factor on my car...So YES...I am changing my intercooler for a much larger one.

Its amazing how people come on here making statements like this....if you dont like it ...dont buy it. I road race...and this "Useless" devise helps me set the max boost levels for a set amount of laps. You dont just set your boost levels to say 17 psi and then do 15 laps. YOu would blow the motor up. Tune does not mean **** at that point MATE !! I need to know what is the max boost I can run for a curtain amount of laps.

If I am a "ricer" because I have this gauge....well then I am happy to be a "ricer".

It kills me when people say that something is a waste of money !!! ITS MY MONEY !!! When I first started going FI with my car...most said that it was "overkill" and that Sharif was ripping me off????.......How is that? the only person I have discussed my 1XXX whp plans with is FP....so how is it overkill? You are doing the samething....you dont know what I use this devise for.....so how can you say that its a waste of money? Maybe for you ....but you cant speak for all.

XKR; Your IAT sensor will provide all the information you need. Go pull the other one. if you are worried about your intercooler inlet temps, i would stop racing now, cause u obviously have ur prioritys backwarks. Keep an eye on your engines health, not the health of your compressed air.

Its a bit of rice, you can add to your rice collection.

Whats wrong with knowing the compressed air temp?????? If running the car at 12 psi for a few laps gives me 160 degrees.....running it at 14psi gives me 190degrees and running it at 16psi gives me 250+ degrees.....this tells me the highest boost level I can run the car at and for how long.

SO I have my PRIORITIES straight !!! I have gauges for all important aspects of my car. On my race car....I even have a gauge for brake temp....but I guess you will tell me that only tire temp is important. You preaching to the wrong person!!! I have been racing cars way too long to agree with what you are saying. I have ran my race car 21 hours at 15psi ( would have made it 24 hours if it were not for Diff failure ).....how did we come to the conclusion that we could run it at that boost level for that long?? .... HMMMmmmmmm !! So show me where it says that too much info is harmful !!

Its very arrogant of you to come on here and tell me that the info from the IAT sensor is all the info I need. Once again....not because thats enough for you means that it should be enough for me.

I really really hate when people make negative comments about people that go for high end products or crazy hp...making statements like " why would you need that much HP..you cant use it on the street".....why buy ARC when you can buy X product. Most of those people making that comment would do the samething if they had the money. If it was cheap to make 1000 hp...MOST would have it. 100K is alot to some, and is nothing to others. Some people feel that just going FI is dump and a waste of money....but those that have gone FI defend it . So dont come on here telling me that buying this thing is a "waste of money" when you yourself have "wasted money" going FI !!!!! For years I have had my family and wife telling me that its crazy to blow over 200K on a new car...but I understand where they are coming from. They are not saying I cant afford it...they think that kind of money should never be spent on a car.

The only person that can make a comment about any thing being a waste of money on this subject....is someone that is NA and has no intension of going FI !!

The only statement that should be made about this devise is...that it works or it does not. If someone ask if they need it...then give your opinion about it. That was not the question the OP asked.....I am sure he knows what he needs and what he does not. All he asked was "what IAT's is everyone getting?"...He did not ask for some financial report on stupidity!!

SO before anyone makes a comment about someone wasting money....just remember that the biggest waste of money on my350z and G35driver is going FI !!

At first when you said 50 degrees cool with spray I was like I was WOT yesterday at 95 degrees out side and I glance on the temp gauge and showed 47 on spray. Before I went WOT the temp gauge difference was bouncing between 15-20 degrees w/o meth spray. So I guess my meth kit works. Thanks for the inputs fellas.
