Intercooler/intake temp gauge - anyone have it?
I recently had GTM installed a IC/intake temp gauge after the water/meth kit was installed. My question is...what kind of temp. do you guys see during the summer 90-95F going in the intercooler and out? Today was 90F here in LA and my temp gauge shows this...
Air temp. going in the IC...

Air temp. going out

Just want to see/know what others shows on their temp. gauge during hot weather.
Thanks for looking.

I honestly don't know what brand it is but Im guessing its a custom intake temp. gauge that GTM offers. Sam at GTM recommended for me to get it for engine safety during high heat summer time. The few days he tuned my car, the average temp in his shop was 110F+

I have one on my RX7....They are aircraft gauges. I used mine to measure temps before intercooler and then after intercooler. You can see how well your intercooler is working
If I was not installing the HKS Camp2 display unit...I would get another one.

Cipher works well too.
I like the OP's GTM IAT gauge too though. :-)

I wish there was a way to see how much temp reduction comes from the meth injection.

I was thinking more like putting in the intake pipe just before the manifold.
The fcon Navigator has this feature.
I see around 110 instop and go traffic and 90 to 100 on the high way with 90plus out side temps, with a 2 gear pull with meth I can get them down to around 50 degrees.
In the winter time with 40 to 50 degree out side temps, I can get my intake temps with the meth in the low teens 11-14 degrees.
So as you read the intake temp on the Navigator while you spray the meth you can see the intake temp go down. On my car it was around 50 degrees cool with spay in the summer and 30 to 40 degrees in the winter.
my sensor was taped right berfore the throttle body and after the meth nozzle.
Peace!!
