Default Car just dies

I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problems as me, or have any ideas to what could be causing this. I had a Turbonetics kit installed a couple of months ago, and ever sense then my car dies every now and them. Maybe about once a week. It seems to happen at very low speeds and RPM's, mainly when i am taking off at a stoplight or something. Its so discrete i dont even notice untill i notice the power steering is gone, or i try to accelerate. When the RPMS fall when i take it out of gear, they go right past idle straight to zero.
Thanks to anyone with useful imput.

You say you had your TN kit installed, by a shop I assume... What do they have to say about it?

Sounds like a MAF/TPS issue to me, but it could really be a whole lot of things.

Injected Performance installed the kit for me. They told me to call Turbonetics.

Did the kit come from them? If so, they should call turbonetics and not you

I would check and clean the mass aif flow sensor and see if that is the problem. Also do you have any engine codes associated with the stalling?

I had the Cam Sensor and the Crank Sensor replaced. I am going to drive it around for a few weeks to see if that fix's the problem. If that dosent fix it, we think its lacking fuel. I need to replace the Turbonetics Reflash.

^^ the reflash would not cause that if that were the case my car would do the same. I have been running the flash alone for over a year with no issues. The only issue I have is crappy *** fuel here in Cali ( Max octane is 91 ).

According to Dewey the car only dies ~1 time per week, so it is a little hard to diagnose when he brings the car in. At first I thought it may be related to the reflash since the car runs unquestionably lean at idle (which apparently is a hit/miss problem with the turbonetics reflash). I spoke with turbonetics and they were less than helpful. Knowing that it is unnoticeable when the car stalls/shuts off leads me to think it may not be from running too lean which would likely make the car shake, but rather a possible cam/crank sensor dropping out. We replaced all the sensors with known working ones for him to test out for a week or two and see if it helps. If not we will continue with more, but it is awful hard to diagnose a problem that can't be reproduced and that we have never experienced 1st hand.

In the meantime Dewey, keep us posted and give me a ring if anything changes.
