Yes. We call them banks, who issue loans, there are also these little plastic things called credit cards.

Seriosly though, if you cant afford to drop 5 large, you cant afford the kit, its just that simple.

Actually, some places will allow you to open up a line of credit, but not sure about the places that we would buy these upgrades from. Best Buy or something would, but you would have to check the dealers to see if this is an option with them. I'm thinking none are large enough to provide financing, but it is worth a shot.

Gee, what are you going to do if you spend ALL your money on a supercharger then start having engine problems (on an engine that is no longer covered under warranty.)

Seems to me that if you aren't ready to make the cash commitment, that you should do some saving first.

(Besides, who wants to carry around $5,000 in high interest consumer credit for some extra horsepower?)

Yeah seriously... any retailer (ie: Best Buy, Sears, Department stores) are gonna charge over 20% interest if they gave you a credit card. Save up or put it on a low interest card!

As someone said man, if you don't have the money, don't buy it. A s/c requires work, tuning, sometimes replacement parts, and other small products. So unless you feel comfortable spending almost $5,500, maybe even little more, don't do it.

I was thinking the same thing, opening up a line of credit towards the charger, but figured I might as well save up, pay it off, and get rid of that payment ********.

Open a website Payformysupercharger.com........I once read of a woman who opened a site called paymydebt.com and she had 20k in debt. It was simple, she had got herself into a hole and wanted to see if it would work. Well she came on the radio a while back and said she had recieved 10k so far. It worked for her maybe it will work for you. Lets face it though, probably not!

You could probably manage to sell hair shaved from your back on eBay for about $5,000

Sounds like you need to start saving your pennies. Not only will the supercharger cost 5 grand, but then you've got to worry about install costs, and tuning.

Just seems to me that you might be biting off more than you could chew with that deal. If you can't afford to pay cash for the s/c, you're definitely not going to be able to afford the maintenance after, since your car will be immediately red flagged the next time the dealer sees it.

Sorry if this sounds negative, but sometimes you've got to be patient (believe me, it's not fun, but you'll be happier later when you can afford to drive your car and not worry about something breaking).
