Did the G this stuff came off of have Brembo brakes?
If so I may want these if they're not all bent up:

I know I can just modify the ones that are already on the car to fit the bigger rotors but I'm just kind of OCD about these sort of things some times.

Well we have put the finishing touches on our swap kits which are currently for sale, we are running a group buy on them on another forum, PM me if your interested in obtaining one.Seeing as how the kits are now officially ready my buddy and I decided to get to work on hs 240sx that I introduced earlier in the thread that will be recieveing a VQ30DET+G35 6spd transmission combo...
We pulled the perimeter harness, removed the dash and what not... etc.

Interior was somewhat gutted but we dug deeper to see what all the previous owner did:

The previous owner decided to cut some wack *** holes for the battery tray and for the other side... but then decided to fill them back in with random pieces of sheet metal and RIVETS!!! It was too ugly to photograph. We basically bought some fresh sheet metal, drew the pattern, and cut it to fit...

Here's me tackin' in one of the sides. Chyeah I am getting some what decent at welding! My new auto darkening helmet really helps me see what I am doing better.

The cursed NX... lol She got moved out to her concrete pad for a little bit... She runs but refuses to boost. We have tried damn near everything to remedy that. Pissed at it we kicked her *** out of the garage.

My buddy Ameen decided to copy the great idea of making the core support a removable piece for future applications. So he got to work and drilled out the spot welds...

While I tacked the rest of the driver side, Ameen got the other side...

We took turns grinding, cutting... etc.

Here's the passenger side of sheet metal cut in and almost ready to fit.

Here are the pieces almost complete, and the Custom made X-Member made crafted by us..

Big things happenin here in Cincinnati in 2009. It looks like it just belongs in there... After mocking up a few things and taking a couple notes and gauking in awe at another S14 that will eventually be scooting around with a turbo VQ. Everything is looking hopeful.

Here is a sneak peak at the turbo Ameen will be using.

Things are getting exciting... We can't wait for spring to get here!!!!

Some other shots of the beast as she currently sits:

While dropping the motor in I noticed something cool about the VQ30DET, it comes stock with the rear pathfinder coolant upgrade that the VQ35DEs in 350zs and G35s do not. Very cool.
Lots of work to do... THE END

Is that an HX35 i see you putting on the 3.0? if it is, thats a really nice turbo, I had it on my vq30de and loved how it spooled up and how much it flows, now I have it on my new vq35de and flows even better, spools up even sooner.

LOL Ameen bargain hunted for his turbo, I took the hit and bought a Garret GT35R. Its all good tho, its the most expensve part on the car, and will be the most expensive part on the car, and as long as I can say that I am doing pretty good.
