Playing it by pocket it is more like it, lol. I hope to get more accomplished when spring hits. Winter just sucks and kills motivation. We are not in or shop full time as of yet so we keep the heat very low so its hard to stay motivated.

Finished running the intercooler pipes today for the most part. I wanted to run as little couplings as I could to keep the pipes from popping off. Plus the holes I drilled made it fun to pipe because the holes required me to hug the pipes to the chassis as close as possible, often leading to points where it was damn near impossible to get a coupling on, so more welding! We started by welding the pipes to the end tanks and went from there, everything clears perfectly from the fog lights to the JDM bumper reinforcement!

I was very happy to find that where I mounted the intercooler it left enough room for the stock hood latch. I HATE hood pins and even aero latches on street cars. I am no longer going to use the carbon fiber hood I once planned to use because of this. I am not going to finish the car and risk hoof latch failure on the carbon fiber hood. I would rather have the extra weight and comfort of the stock hood. With that in mind it was awesome that the intercooler came with extra mounts. I had Mike weld them to the top of the intercooler, I modified where the hood latch mounted to and it came out lookin a little something like this:

Simple I know but it excites me all the same.
