Such a shame! I was really looking forward to seeing this project finish. I told you before that your build had given me inspiration to keep going with mine, well I sold mine this week too! I understand when enough is enough.

However, I now have a Nismo kitted 350z and I've never been happier with a car!

I guess everything happens for a reason buddy and there are bigger/better things waiting for ya.

It is a huge bummer to have the project go away due to financial/life issues. I found your thread because I was searching to see if FI was even possible once a VQ was swapped into a Silvia. I hope to eventually do something similar, though on less of a grand scale. I need to commend your skills, you have a special talent and more importantly the imagination to invent solutions for any problems you come across. Your project also made me realize that I need to learn to weld, otherwise all my grand ideas will end up costing more than I can afford. Good luck with your future endeavors and like everyone else is saying you can turn this into more than just a part time gig if you want.

Wow I dont know what to say guys, I am very flattered. To have a sponsorship from the forum would be an honor. I wouldnt be able to thank you guys enough. If I could get someone to sponsor me on the engine work, suspension is all I really need. Im not looking for anything radical on the engine work either just need to drop the compression for turbo and do a rebuild to make sure the engine is ok from the accident it was in. I can finish the exterior I just need help in those 2 places specifically.

If anyone knows of anyone they can talk to about sponsoring the project that would be wonderful anything can help, I dont have the first clue as to where to start when it comes to that. Or if anyone can tell me how to get started in seeking a sponsor that would be great too.

If everyone does decide to help me out by donating, I would do whatever I can to give back. I dont plan on this being my last project so the day i sold the car is the day everyone who donated would get their money back and then some even if that were to mean not seeing a dime out of the car for myself.

Or maybe we can start a domino effect, like a forum/peoples choice sponsorship for other peoples projects or something if this goes through. I would be willing to donate back every dollar I was donated to see some other cool projects go down. I know there are people out there that have ideas like me that dont have the funds to put them in motion, or like was said before they had to quit because of the exact same situation I am in.

Main thing is I dont expect any handouts, its a pride thing for me. I dont think I can thank you guys enough for even the thought of helping me out in such a manor.
