Default Vortech Cog belt issue....?

I noticed that the cog belt is very close to the edge of the pully. This is caused by the tensioner pulley not lining up to the Cog pulley and impeller pulley. I talked to my local tuner to see if I could add a washer there to push the tensioner pulley out more so that it would line up better with the other two pulleys. He said it shouldn't be an issue. I just wanted some more opinions.

It's fine just like that. I have mine the same way. The idler pulley will not let it walk off.

I had to grind the bushing to bring the belt in more (opposite of your scenario)

i also had to add a washer to my idler pulley setup to get the cog belt more centered on the jackshaft pulley. should not be a problem doing that.

I had the same problem, although mine was on the inward edge of the cog pulleys. Try flipping the idler pulley around. One side is a little different than the other, and it brought the cog belt closer to the middle.
