We corner balanced it before we left for the race..so it is what it is. I actually thought that 3100lbs'ish was still a little porky. I just double checked my notes, and the scales read 3125 lb with the full tank of gas, no driver. Sorry about that.

Congrats to Forged on the podiums. They will definately make for some great racing. First few events always is working out the bugs and then concentrate on dialing in for each track. We're going to have to step it up for sure with you guys out there. Our last scale for modified was 3501 lbs without driver, not sure on gas. As of then I've probably got about 100lbs out of her by chopping those doors. G's are just so heavy. I guess it all boils down to how serious you wanna get on shedding weight.

The mechanical issue was pretty odd, no signs of anything wrong, coolant system was solid, nothing in the oil, and Robi wasn't even pushing the car. It was Robi's first time at this track and driving my car, so he was just settling into his racing line... Robi did over rev the motor once and maybe that had something to do with the tapping noise that developed - my guess is a spun rod bearing but Sharif and crew will have here back and stronger than ever before the next event.
On a positive side, the car just flat out works and is fast! Robi set the mornings practice sessions fastest time of 1:11 flat in the rain and on my year old and worn down NT-01's - Going on Robi's feedback, 1:05 easy on my race wheel/rubber setup, the boost controller on and race gas - we were running wastegate pressure and burning off the pump gas (I drove the car to the event).
My Congrats to BC Racing - I talked to Pete and crew at the event and I believe we settled our differences - besides Scott, my opinion of him is even less after speaking with him!

Car looks good Dr Phil.....sorry to hear about the problems with it....hope it is not something big.
I know how you feel....I shipped my race car to the last 12 hours of Sebring and car failed in practice...back up turbo's also had issues......its the worst feeling in the world.
1:05......I bet your car could do it . If I am not mistaking, I think your car is pushing more power than Sharif's.
I know you will bring good tires to the next event Phil
I will make the next event to help you and Sharif with setup for sure.
