my piping is different from yours. I have a greddy TT kit, but I went with a dual intercooler setup from SFR to fit my G. If you want, I 'll post pics, but you guys have to figure something else out to fit the Z. just get some 2.75" pipe and go to it.

Hi did you notice any difference in power or hear the turbos more when you added these? Thanks, Robert

The K&N filters I would bet are actually more restrictive then the Greddy mushroom foam ones. But they filter wayyy better.

I went from the Greddy filter to those tiny K & N filters and they deff allow less air in. Im looking at relocationg the filters outside of the egine bay near the intercooler. My only concern is that by doing this ill affect my tune by going with larger filters. Can anyone chime in?

I don't like those tiny filters some of the guys are using. I choose the K&Ns I have due to there alrger size and also they have a built-in velocity stack at the base of the filter. filters like mine are difinately more money than the small, more basic K&Ns, but are probably worth the extra coin. the greddy filters are going to flow alot of air; the foam is non-restrictive and they have a nice velocity stack built-in the design, too.

Im not a fan of these small things either. Just looking at them I can tell the surface area is vastly smaller. My concern is that if I do change it back to either the greddy's or do a custom larger filters outside the engine bay, will my tune be affected?

I found these old pics to demonstrate the K&N filters I used in my Greddy TT set-up.

I did have to shorten the intake pipe length just a bit for the filters to fit. No big deal though as they are thin Aluminum...easy to cut.

Only drove about 100 miles with the Mushrooms of Death, before reading the numerous threads about how bad they are...so I changed right away and never looked back. It wasn't done to improve power, just to keep the engine clean.
That much it does well.

This is a crappy cell phone pic. Within a few days I will be posting a thread on the car since engine #2, some numbers, maybe a video or two with an update on my car.

There are literally hundreds of K&N filter applications and I cant find my receipt at the moment, but when I did a search on the K&N website, I was able to enter dimensions of what I feel should work and came up with this:
