Here's what I made for my G.

Everything is a mess in this pic, it was when we were re-installing the motor. Things look a lot better now.

Actually looks like you are having perhaps a coolant issue with the reservoir almost overflowing?

That was when we first put the motor back in the car and he filled it too far.

Ur thoughts on the SSV? Good for high HP? or is this a customer car?

(I know the majority of this forum hates it and considers it useless and a waste of $$$.)

all the intake manifolds for our car are pretty much crap. The ssv makes you lose power and the cosworth gets cracks on the CF sides with boost.

Not 100% true. The SSV does do well and makes some power on higher boost applications. Ask performance factory if you need a shop to back me up. Yes on NA and low boost they don't do much but past that they are a good product.

Actually I was basically quoting jeremy on that. He said to just keep it OEM.

He and a couple other shops have told me the SSV shows good gains above 11-12psi.

I know the apex filters are really expensive but Fujita makes a version that looks very similar to the Apex. I did an oil change after about 1800mi and my oil was black I was using the Mobil 1 filter and Mobil 15w50. These GReddy filters don't filter much at all.

I dunno if I'd want my intakes all the way up behind the grill... Might pick up too much water.

tecni.........there are no issues with it. I had mine like that when I had a TN ST kit.......I used a Z kit on my G, so the air filter was just like what timmy has......ecxcept only 1 filter. I went through a couple of our usual florida monsoons at hgihway speeds and I kept wondering about succking in the water.........no probs whatsoever!!!
