LOL-looking at your oil isnt an idication of its condition.

Oil after 1000 miles will look "black" in most cases.

OK so that's normal and can drive at least 3k or more with synthetic oil?

BTW how does your car go past 160? Thought there's a limiter on our cars?

reflash of the ecu to remove the limiter has been done many times over the years on our cars. GTM, Forged, Technosqure, AAM and Uprev are a few companies who can do this for you.

Send your oil in for analysis for answers like that. No two cars, engines, driving habits are the same.

It amazes me you have a 500+whp Z and dont know we can remove our limiters lol...

Really I feel like I've been out of the loop for new mods since my car has been running good w/ no major issues, but the speed limit flash sounds good. How much does that run?

Since you're in SoCal, I'd recommend going with Technosquare or GTM.

The cost of my Technosquare reflash was $495.

The GTM reflash is $600.

Thanks for the info RudeG_v2.0, I'll probably go with Technosquare since it's a little cheaper. Do you know if I will have to get my fCon retuned after getting this flash?

Not sure about that. I got my Technosquare reflash while I was NA. Hopefully somebody else can chime in on that.

FYI... I think the GTM and Forged reflashes have the added benefit of clearing the CEL's for FI guys using standalone EMS. If I have CEL issues after my ProEFI install and tune, I will consider changing my reflash to one or the other.

That's even better, so the 495 is if you want to get all the features?

FUEL: Fuel Map
IG: Ignition Timing Map
SPD: Speed Limiter
REV: Rev limiter
BL: Boost Limiter
BC: Boost Control
VTC: Variable Timing Control
