Has anyone here used av gas in their car? I know it's leaded, but can it be used in cars? I'm asking cause there are a few gas stations near my house that carry it, and the only gas station near me with racing fuels is 35 miles away.

 

I've used it before on my Datsun, as we used to have a buddy who worked at nearby private airport so it was way easier than paying to ship the stuff in. I seem to recall him saying that the biggest difference with it and race gas was that the avgas didn't always have a consistent octane rating (as in, there was a minimum it could be, but it wasnt a finite figure like, say Sunoco Purple is, etc. I might be remembering incorrectly so forgive me if I am (this is going back about 10 years now)
