its like the hooker mod... i mean he coudl have made the ..... marks turbo kit is efficient...although he is concerned with ATI this is just to seek perfection, cause the kit handles heat quite well

Thats pretty good for no tune and exxhaust... you should be even higher with a tune and exhaust at the same boost level

Yeah they are both killing me. Im sure with the cutout open and a really good tune id prolly see north of 350whp..not to mention this was on a mustang dyno and you know how low they read.

Its efficient but it doesnt address the problem of the intake pipe going right over the exhaust housing. They really should supply a turbo blanket and a wrap to cover the rad. hose. Those 2 spots on the pipes get too hot to touch after a few min of driving.

the blanket is not a bad idea and i see what you mean about the rad. hose. I am still debating if i want to do anything about it.

Do mustang dynos read much lower than DD's? You need to lean that car out...holy **** monkies that is rich

Im tellin ya it made a HUGE difference and was worth every penny. Including the covering the radiator hose. After a HARD run the pipes are cool to the touch. And yeah mustang dynos are known to read low. And yeah haah I leaned it out so now its 11.0-11.2 across the bored back down to 10.9 up top..still super rich..but very safe.

Update.

Motor build is in process

CP pistons/eagle rods/ARP main and normal ARP studs. My goal is being reduced down to 600-650rwhp..it seems that will even be too much for an everyday summer car. I should have the motor done in about 2 months since the shop is REALLY busy and I told them to take their time. Ill prolly start takin the car apart after x-mas. Once I take the motor out I can see if any of the pipes rubbed on the side of the car and I can make more room.

Tell it to someone at HIN. I race my car.

Your comment indicates you miss the point completely.

Haha no..putting on the turbo blanket and sheilding the rad. hose made a HUGE difference. The coolest the car would see was 95*+ and that was after a nice run..and it would quickly climb. Now after a nice run its 10*hotter and under and driving normally around will net me no more than 15* over.

I'm scared the fabric laces can catch on fire. They've got to be heat resistant
