We'll have to get all the boosted G35/350Z together when I get home, seems there are quite a few in the area now.

the intercooler the way it is.. i think you have a G35 pett kit. not the one for the Z... the intercooler inlet is on the bottom, which the outlet is on top. to gothru the radiator support frame.

They are the Sparco Torino II's and I got them from Injection Performance.... The only thing (which I wish I would've read this before hand ) is that the red fades a good bit.... which you can have them re-dyed. If you'd like to buy them..... I wouldn't mind getting some bride cuga's... let me know. They are in great shape except the passenger side right at the top bolster is a little faded....

I think you have to fabricate the water lines

Hey guys, Its been awhile since I posted!!!! I finally got the install complete ( I was thinking about selling it and then I went ahead and installed it anyway....) it was a pain in the @$$ but I learned a lot. I am taking it to get it tuned on Monday at Function Tuned. The only concern I had is I couldn't get a map loaded on my UTEC and I drove it out of my garage and back in so it would be in the middle bay. It ran REAALLY Rich ( to be expected ) and there was black smoke coming out of the pipes.
Until yesterday I have not turned it on, I finally got a map installed ( I had to hit enter when hyper terminal was connected ) and I started it and it ran a lot smoother and it still smells like fuel but now a little bit of white smoke is coming out????
I've read everywhere that this is cause by coolant... but i don't know how I would've blown a head gasket if I didn't' drive it.
So this morning I had to take it in to a local dealership ( about 1.5 miles from my house ) and my buddy was following me and said he could see some white smoke but it didn't smell like coolant or oil to him just smelled like fuel.
I really hope nothing happened??? i haven't gone into boost ( not even close ) and not even revved it past 3000 rpm....
Any ideas ( is it just b/c its untuned and dumping fuel ???)
Also it doesn't smell like fuel under the hood just smells like when you put on a new exhaust system.... there is nothing leaking on the floor before or after I started it.
Any help would be appreciated ( i am overly cautious and worry a lot haha )

Nice to see you kept your kit after all. The slight smoke may just be residual oil on a part or two that will burn off as the car heats up. Head gasket should be fine unless you are puking coolant everywhere. My advice would be to arrange to meet Dave at around 9am (he usually rolls in around 11am) and leave from Hershey at around 3am so you can be south of DC before morning rush. You may have to hang out at the McDonald's by F:T for a while, but its better that bumper to bumper traffic for 2 hours, IMO.
Can't wait to see your new setup run. I have a little project of my own going now, its gonna be a fun summer in 09.

No its nothing at all lol. Its cuz John is scared about every little thing. Ha the car is fine, trust me haha I worked on it enough to know so lol. I can now chalk up another f/i Z install and monday add yet another f/i Z to the central Penn area. Chris is right, summer '09 is going to be a lot of fun.

Hey guys just giving an update... I will post my DD graphs tonight.
I got it tuned yesterday at Function and we ran into a slight problem. In the "for sale" post it said it had 10 psi actuator springs in it, but it seemed no-one knew for sure. well it turns out the first run spiked at 13.XX psi and thats definatly not stock block friendly. So after some talking we disconnected the EVC 6 & now it peaks at 12 psi but dave retarded the timing a bit and added some more fuel. I would also like to say that I was scared it wasn't going to get tuned that day b/c of the springs but Dave did a great job and explained everything he was doing, and answered all my questions. This has been a great learning experience and so far ( 1 day ) the reward puts a smile on my face everytime i hit the gas !!.
Thanks again to everyone that helped!!!

Here are the graphs!!!
Now i am told that dave's dyno reads low (b/c its a load based dyno)??? so on a dyno jet it would read a bit higher... does anyone know in the realm of what that would be?
