Import Face Off + Columbus, OH = RAIN, but we were able to snap off a few pics before the rain sent us home early. The turnout was impressive, and it was nice getting to see and meet some fellow Z/G owners. On the first pass out of the trailer, our Injected Performance 350Z ran a very respectable 8.89 at 160mph (#1 Qualifier in 8-car Outlaw Class) on what was a pretty hot day.

How is the show in your area? Down in Texas I gotten to the point where I hate to do this show anymore. The last show I did was only to help my team out. The 3 previous shows I've did of theirs, I've always been extremely disappointed with their lack of organization.

 

Import Face Off shows are awesome. I love them. Cliff defintley puts on a good show. Every year we have them its always a good turn out. Only thing is its rains for alil bit. When we had ours back in March it was the first year where it didn't rain.

 

Alberto, I tried launching a little harder and the tires broke free in 1st. I rarely get out of it, but it was qualifying so I backed off and jumped back on it in 1st gear. I was impressed to see it still put up a 9.0 @ 162 being on/off throttle.

Coachk, thanks. Fronts are a 26" tire on a 15" wheel.

Well Hal I'm glad that you made it out here to Columbus, hope to see ya out here some other time. Sorry about the rain, we have had like a 2 month drought and of course it had to rain for that event. Thanks for sharing all of your videos in the past and the ones here.

I watched a different vid of Hal at the Import Face Off in Ohio. In the 1st race on the vid Hal posted you couldn't see it, but on the one I watched Hal tree"d the other guy big time.The other guy ran a 9.0.
