You could always set the rev limit higher. I just moved mine to 8000RPM. It gives me lots of room to make power now.

You will be seeing this soon enough. I plan on stepping it up sometime next year. My end goal is a 42r/76mm..just gotta find a way to fit it..or wait till they come out with it.

This is not true... I have a built 3.5L with a GT42R on my street 350z, and I love it. Yes, it doesn't have the immediate full-spool-but-choked-out-top-end response of greddy twins, but when it comes on it doesn't shock the tires giving you a nice meaty powerband that you can use on the street.

well they usually dont make power till 6k but they only run them on fully built high-revving blocks.

pfffffffffft. least you had a dad. lol.

OP - curious to see what this kit does....I would have gone with the 850 upgrade, but you never brake barriers by doing what everyone else does. Congrats.

yea im sayin a block thats a full liter less and has 2 cylinders less can spin a 42r so i dont see it being a prob lem on a vq. It would prob spool at 4800.
